Read through some comments from
parents about their experiences at TSOB. For these parents,
and all past, present and future parents, we thank you
for allowing us the opportunity to improve your lives
and the life of your child.
Our son Wyatt attended the Social Skills class at The Shape of Behavior this summer. This was a wonderful group participation class led by Erin Webb. Wyatt is eight years old, diagnosed with Autism (PDD/NOS), and will be going into the third grade this year. We have had many advances and victories over issues with speech and self care but have struggled trying to help him with his social skills. Erin was so good in this area. She and the staff at The Shape of Behavior lead the children who attended the class to look at and model their own social behavior in a way that as parents we had no idea how to accomplish. We are so grateful for the opportunity to have had our son participate in this class and definitely plan to have him attend future classes.
Thank you again. - Wyatt’s Parents

"When our two and one-half year old baby girl was dignosed
with PDD-NOS, we were determined to find a therapy or
a program that could reach Kora and work on getting her
up to speed with her communication skills and social
interaction. Three months ago, Jason and I enrolled Kora
in The Shape of Behavior. In that short amount of time,
we have seen great progress from Kora. She has started
signing and much to our delight has spoken her first
word. In addition, Kora's behavior with us, and others,
has drastically improved. Jason and I are strong advocates
for The Shape of Behavior and would recommend the program
and the staff to anyone who inquired. We are extremely
optimistic about our daughter's future and the role The
Shape of Behavior will play in it."

"Our son Bobby has attended this clinic for 1 1/2 years.
He has enjoyed going to it except for maybe the first
week. Bobby has made tremendous progress. Bobby has learned
to put short sentences together with magnetic words,
spell, start to tell time, vocalize short sentences and
has begun to do basic math. The clinic allows his younger
twin brothers to attend to facilitate building a bond
with Bobby. He has begun to show an interest in other
games and toys, and has made some friends. Parent training
is helpful and we now feel our son has meaningful homework.
His worksheets are constantly updated and our considerations
are taken into account on what we would like the clinic
to work on with Bobby. Yes, it is costly but worth every
penny. The staff are dedicated, professional, and very
caring. They give honest input into Bobby's progress
and are willing to try new things per our suggestions."

Since being thrust into the world of autism
7 years ago, we can say without a doubt, that the
past 2 years of our son's life have been the most encouraging. Why?
Because he has been at TSOB. We have been very
thankful to find a staff so dedicated to the kids,
not to mention their professionalism, knowledge, creativity,
energy, compassion and playfulness. Our son looks
forward to being at TSOB everyday and we have peace of
mind because he is getting the best therapy Texas (& this
part of the country) has to offer.

"After much research into successful programs for
children with PDD, we searched for an ABA facility, found
TSOB and enrolled our son at the age of 4. We learned
from our research that early intervention was critical, and
when we saw the facilities and met the director, we knew
that TSOB was the right choice. It made sense to us to
have a data-driven program based on the ABLLS assessment – we
couldn’t imagine being able to keep track of his
progress or customize programs to his specific needs without
these tools. We like the 1-1 approach very much and his
team has been very friendly, professional and well trained,
they keep us informed of trainings that we can attend as
well. We also love the playdates where he gets
hands-on therapy by playing with other kids. Our
son has made excellent progress and our doctors , family,
and friends have noticed remarkable improvements
in his communication and behavior. His stimming
has been greatly reduced and his receptive language has
made huge gains - we see him trying hard to communicate
with us now. TSOB has been a huge blessing in our lives – we
are extremely grateful to have this school in our area".
